Arlie’s Brothers and Sisters in Arms for Veterans is a service organization dedicated to the health and well-being of veterans and military families. We are a small start-up, with a large heart. We are building a safe haven for veterans, active-duty service members, and military families to gather, find support, and strengthen connections with civilians. We are raising awareness about the topic of moral injury in veterans. While emerging as a concept, moral injury is in research infancy.
Our mission is to provide a place of belonging where service stories are honored, and connections are built on compassion and trust. As we construct our third space strongroom, we invite community-focused suggestions, experiences, and advisement on what services are needed. Our interactive website has no moderator and is not monetized. I am the only one who has access to the suggestions and questions awaiting patiently. Walking alongside in a secure third space connected with caring community is the goal.
To participate, please make suggestions, ask questions, and share stories in the correspondence box below. We respect your privacy. Letters from Arlie’s war have been shared on the next page. Welcome, brothers and sisters.
Yours in service,
Michela Bull, DHSc
